Project Description

The 13th Asia Pacific Intensive Care Symposium (APICS 2026), held from 10 to 12 July 2026 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Bali, Indonesia, marked a historic milestone as the symposium was held outside Singapore for the very first time, welcoming the global critical care community to Bali. This landmark edition reflected APICS’ continued evolution as a leading platform in the Asia Pacific for advancing intensive care through education, collaboration and innovation.

Over three inspiring days, more than 700 participants from over 30 countries/regions came together to exchange knowledge, share best practices and explore the latest developments shaping the future of critical care. The comprehensive scientific programme featured over 120 expert speakers, 34 symposia, 12 plenary sessions and 7 workshops, offering diverse opportunities for learning, discussion and knowledge exchange across disciplines.

As APICS continues to expand its regional and international reach, the 2026 edition reaffirmed its commitment to empowering the critical care community, strengthening professional collaboration and advancing excellence in intensive care. This successful edition marked an important chapter in APICS’ journey, setting the stage for continued growth and impact in the years ahead.
